The Confident Body by Minna Taylor

I have consumed countless books and podcasts on the topics of mindfulness and no one does it more skillfully, using tactile methodology, than Minna. She argues "Play is the most powerful tool in the toolkit of human behavior" and by the time you finish this book you'll feel both armed with the right tools and ready for playtime.

The Confident Body is about tapping into the truest version of yourself to unlock your full potential.

My name is Minna Taylor and I am the author of The Confident Body. I wrote this book because I know,  that everyone is capable of embodying their version of confidence, contrary to popular belief that this is limited to an elite few.

My hope is that, in reading this book, you will discover your own authentic and confident self. In this book, I hope to instill in you the same sort of passion and excitement that I have for my own clients. Ultimately, I want you to see this book as a tool to help you unlearn what no longer serves you and take on what will get you exactly where you want to be.

In this book, you'll learn the 3 behaviors that lead to a perception of confidence and how to build new habits around the way in which you understand and interact with your life. You'll hear stories such as...

  • A client who transformed how her CEO received her ideas by simply shifting her breath awareness and paying attention to her forehead (you read that right!).

  • A group of women leaders who were seeking stronger representation of feminine leadership qualities within their organization.

  • The time I got divorced and ultimately shifted my safe life into a life worth living.

This book is an invitation to meeting one's own potential.

Minna's precise, relatable and vulnerable storytelling in The Confident Body demonstrate a weight and depth of understanding that makes for compelling reading. It's clear that her lessons, foibles and wisdom come from moments that, in ways unique to her life, somehow still mirror my own — except she had the guts to open herself up and share a service. This book is an invitation to meeting one's own potential. While enjoying each chapter, I simultaneously found myself wanting to stop, reflect, and sit in what I was absorbing.
